Blue Lagoon

Bahamas
The Bahamas is one of those destinations that looks just like the pictures—beautiful turquoise-blue water, white-sand beaches, warm sunshine, and gorgeous island scenery. With hundreds of islands and cays, there’s something for travelers who want to relax as well as those looking for adventure.
Nassau is especially popular with cruise travelers. You can enjoy beaches, shopping, local food, historic sites, snorkeling, boat rides, and excursions to nearby islands. One of the highlights is Blue Lagoon Island, where you can enjoy beautiful water, beaches, and marine-life experiences.
You can spend your vacation snorkeling in crystal-clear water, relaxing on the beach, taking a boat excursion, exploring Nassau, or simply enjoying that laid-back island feeling.
And since Blue Lagoon is one of my personal favorites, I can share more than information about it—I can tell you what it was like to actually experience it. The beautiful blue water took my breath away, and even the boat ride over was part of the fun!

Wilmington, North Carolina: history and charm
One of My Favorite Getaways
Wilmington, North Carolina holds a special place in my heart. I love the history, the charm of downtown, and walking along the beautiful waterfront. And as a huge One Tree Hill fan, I love that the show was filmed there!
But some of my favorite memories are visiting Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. I absolutely love walking along the beach and collecting seashells—it’s one of those simple things that makes me happy and lets me bring a little piece of my vacation home with me.
For me, Wilmington has everything I enjoy—history, beautiful beaches, great scenery, a connection to my favorite show, and plenty of opportunities to hunt for the perfect seashell!
Sometimes the best travel memories are the simple ones you get to bring home with you.
And I’m heading back to Wilmington over Labor Day! I can’t wait to spend more time at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach, walking along the shore and looking for seashells. 🐚 There’s something about this area that keeps me wanting to come back—the history, the beaches, the One Tree Hill connection, and all the memories I’ve made there.
I can’t wait to make some new memories—and hopefully come home with some beautiful new seashells!
